The Waffle Book Tag

The Waffle Book Tag

Salam and Hi everyone. Subhanallah, we are at the start of the February, 2020 already. I feel like the time is passing so fast last month plus looks, a lot of things had cropped up both in my life and our world! It is heart aching to read all the bad and hazardous news but everything has its own hikmah. Nonetheless, I barely managed to read two books last month and I think it is a good start. Hoping for new books coming soon at the rack!! InshaAllah, may Allah soothing everything. I am planning to buy new books at Book Depository soon but let`s see how it goes. To be honest, I am not that avid reader but I think this is the best I can do besides scrolling the social media pages, LOL. Nini has tagged me last few months ago and I am finally have time to write this, Alhamdulillah. The Waffle Book Tag is an idea from Kat and credit ahead, I am using her waffle graphics at my post okiee.

📔 Tag as many people as you want (or don’t want) to. No pressure here, folks.

So yeah, let`s start.

Tom Gates: Excellent Excuses (And Other Good Stuff)

I don`t know if I should call this classic or not but the book`s paper make it more classic than the rest of the books that I`d read at that time. It tells an anecdote story of the main character, Tom Gates with his life updates. diary-ish.  I took a big risk that time to buy this book because of my sister with her negative prejudice, saying that I won`t finish that book but anyway, I did finished it. Well, maybe because it was my very first English book that I personally buy for myself? Hehe. But it`s a fun book with fun and bombastic doodle! Tom and his cliche stories of finding members of his rock band was definitely a worth reading for 10 years old `me`.

Aku Mahu Popular

When I was in primary school, I was a huuuuuuge fan of Ain Maisarah! I collect almost all books that was released back then. I have so many favorites books by Ain Maisarah and when I have to choose one of them as the most nostalgia, it was REALLY hard. But I really think that Aku Mahu Popular has left an impact for me to keep hooking the novelist`s series of books. It tells a story of Farah and Ina, who are really determine to become popular just like the most popular girls and boys at the school. Who doesn`t know The Wannababes guys?? MashaAllah, so many memories, so many nostalgia.

ps - I have a good chance to meet Ain Maisarah during the book fest at PWTC 2015 something? And she`s so cute. I asked her when she want to published Impiana special book or what I don`t remember. Sadly, it still leave a big question and remain mysterious T-T

#88LOVELIFE

Of course, it is my all time favorite #88LoveLife by Diana Rikasari! Plus the cute illustrations by Dinda Puspitasari =) I discovered this book through my online friend, Anna. I was immersed with its beauty content and decided to buy it online with the help of my sister. This book is kind of expensive for me so it remain special to get the book hoho. The reason why it is completely wholesome shouldn't be a spoiler here but this illustrated book is about the author`s daily thoughts on her love and life experience. Subhanallah, whenever I read it, I feel so much content in whatever thoughts that she have been shared with. It has several volumes but I managed to catch up till Volume 2 only. I convinced myself to buy it later because of the books` price hahhaha.

Siri Jalanan

It`s still doesn`t end YET actually but whatever I`m gonna stuck with this series forever. It is Jalanan series by Teme Abdullah and a Malay fiction of the story of the author life. The series thought me many things and I absolutely love it. I could finish the book in one or two day, spending all my times devotedly in my room to finish it. But I think it took a while for me to finish Arkitek Jalanan solely because I quite overwhelmed with the chapters. Teme did inspiring me and I would  like to honor him that he plays huge role into my inspirational people list. Wish to meet him in person and thanks him for that though.

Salju Kyoto

MashaAllah it`s none other than him, yes him Arjuna Kaede. Mesti best jadi Nailah kan? Hahahah. I love the novel`s plot to be honest and the way Sara Aisha conveys her writing into the novel really amazes me. When it was a scene of the bamboo forest, classical gardens and imperial places, I felt like I was at the moment. With all the fight scenes of Yakuza gangs heated the moment when I read it. Arjuna is such a beautiful character and definitely a fictional that`s sugary sweet thanks to his cold air presence. It is an action romance and thriller type of books, so you might be wow with all the intense scene.

 Being A Quran Tag Girl

Okay it is not that different, but being a  passionate reader of fiction book, so I think this kind of motivated or self-help book makes me feel a bit different. I bought this book at Big Bad Werewolf Book Festival at Melaka before SPM. I managed to read this last month and Alhamdulillah finished it within one month because I was quite busy and tired with works. As my goals of 2020 is to become better than previous me, I took a few steps to walk in different path and expose myself to few new things in order to build again my relationship with God. Thanks to this book, I did jotted down some important notes to be closer with the Quran and I am slowly into that routine. I hope it will change my whole life. To some people, it might be easy to start but hard to istiqamah. But for me, I think both of em are hard huhu. It`s like me waiting for a right time to start and end up didn`t start. O Allah, please ease everything.

Letters To God

I solemnly promise that this book have successfully made me felt blue when I tried to finish it. I don`t know... it just feel so relatable with the main character. Long short story, during October or something, I was staying at my sister`s home alone without all the electronic devices. My sister was working so I don`t have much things to do except me bringing my revision book and this beautiful book. The place was so quiet that I was fully immersed into the reading and the plot lines is kind of despair mode so I got attached with the blue mood as well. Sarah`s story seems like so close to me, thanks for our similar preference i.e being an active introverts. But Sarah is special. Letters To God has taught me a beautiful message on how to communicate with God and I pray that there will be time like that again.. that time I feel so blue just because reading a book.

Naruto Theme Bookmarks

It is probably my handmade bookmarks. It is Naruto theme as I am huge fan of Naruto hahha. When I first made them, there were lot! But meh me being me, they kept missing hahah.

So yea that`s it! You guys feel free to do this tag as well ( please drop the blog link in the comment section below if you guys did! ) and I hope you guys enjoy reading this as well. Thank you. See ya in the next post, InshaAllah.
